Diese erstrecken sich auf deutsche Filialen der Z\u00fcrcher Seidenindustrie, aber auch auf traditionsreiche Z\u00fcrcher Seidenunternehmen wie Zwicky &amp; Co.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Die Z\u00fcrcher Seidenindustrie stieg im 19. Jahrhundert zu einer der erfolgreichsten Branchen der Schweizer Wirtschaft auf. Auch mithilfe von Tochterfirmen in Europa und den USA erzielte die Z\u00fcrcher Seidenindustrie bis zur Weltwirtschaftskrise hohe Gewinne. Nach Restrukturierungsprogrammen im Gefolge dieser Krise, die die Z\u00fcrcher Seidenindustrie schwer traf, erholten sich einige der traditionsreichen Unternehmen und hielten die Textilproduktion bis ins sp\u00e4te 20. Jahrhundert aufrecht.
