Dr. Matthias Georgi was guest speaker at the event and spoke about the 125 years of EJF history. In his remarks he particularly focused on the constant change in language in social work, exemplified in the description of both disability and social discrimination. This was followed by members of EJF opening the new touring exhibition which had been implemented by Neumann & Kamp. The exhibition is to be presented at facilities run by EJF in Brandenburg, Berlin, Bavaria, Saxony-Anhalt and North Rhine-Westphalia. The exhibition is accompanied by the presentation of a special issue of the magazine „EJF aktuell“ which serves as a kind of history encyclopedia.
